Just wanted to post this cause I thought it was pretty hilarious. It's a picture of Morgan in a duel with an alien king..... dun dun dun. Our assignment was to take a photo that we wanted to screenprint and do something with that, so this is going to be halftoned and turned into a photo screen print. But I kind of like it like this too!

I recently was given a Pentax k1000 and have been fooling around with it. It's wonderful!! Of course the colors are butchered by blogger but you get the general gist I hope :)

Figure Sculpture Dabbleage

Hello! First Update of Spring Semester :)

I've been taking a figure sculpture class - it's been really fun! It's been a while since I threw some clay around.

Full Figure! It looks disproportionate, which it might be, but the model was also pret-ty skinny.

These are pretty hard to look at, to be honest, and were even harder to edit. This diptych is from this past august, when my grandpa was dying, and I was unconsciously photographing the whole process (in the sense that I was taking a TON of pictures of everything, and wasn't thinking about why, but now I realize that it was to record this occasion so i'll never forget it). It was this long, drawn-out experience and I had never experienced anything quite like it - everyone was just hanging around my grandparents' house in this weird state of limbo. All of us were pretty delicate - I remember feeling fragile as glass - one little thing would set any of us on a crying jag at any given time, even if we thought we were being strong. Death is a strange thing. 

Anyways. That's that.
